Finally, workshops for the training professional. These workshops are
designed for individuals who are responsible for coordinating, developing or
instructing training courses or programs.
Instructional Design Workshop
This workshop will explore and exercise various instructional design
philosophies. A systematic approach will be used to develop training
programs. Topics include: conducting a Needs Assessment, a Needs Analysis,
performing a Task Analysis, organizing a Design Review, Program Development
options, developing course material, conducting classroom instruction,
evaluation and measurement tools and techniques.
Developing Course Material
Learn how to develop effective course material and support your own
training requirements. Topics include: Performance /Objective Based
Training, developing objectives, creating activities and exercises,
measurement tools, evaluate modes and methods of instruction, creating
instructor guides and student handouts.
Instructor Development
This workshop is designed for individuals who are responsible for
conducting training events. Topics include: instructor responsibilities,
classroom management, Objective-Based instruction, training techniques,
presentation skills, instructional styles and Adult Learning Principles.
Each student’s presentations will be videotaped. The students receive
individual coaching and retain a copy of their presentations. |
