Hours) The scope of this class is to provide the student with an
insight to business operations. Many businesses or organization do
business different ways and have different expectations and images. This
class will explore workplace guidelines, protocols and organizational

course is an intermediate level course. The course will review basic
mathematical principles to include; the number line, addition,

decimals and fractions and fundamentals of statistics. |
AZBC08 Perceptions and Attitudes - 8
Hours This workshop will explore the perceptions of customers when

AZBC09 Basic Math - 16 Hours
Transition from arithmetic to algebra. Includes basic mathematical
operations, work with fractions, decimals, signed numbers, percents, and
ratio applications. Also includes order of operations, solving linear
equations and inequalities in one variable. Upon completion of this
course the student will be able to;
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide real numbers.
- Solve simple word problems involving fractions, decimals, area and
perimeters.

AZBC10 Basic Telephone Skills - 8 Hours
The focus of this class is to provide the students with the skills
necessary to engage and handle incoming calls. The initial telephone
call is the most important customer service tool in our inventory.

message, call handling, customer service principles, message taking and
problem solving techniques. |

scope of this course is to provide the students the skills needed to

AZBC12 Communication Fundamentals - 8 Hours

customer's first impression. The first impression is a critical
component in gaining new business and retaining a customer's loyalty.
This workshop will explore the perceptions of customers and the vision
created as a result of that brief encounter. The course will stress how
each employee is partially responsible for the success of the

AZBC13 Keyboarding Skills - 8 Hours
The objective of this class is to familiarize the student with the
standard functions of the keyboard, input information into the computer,
become familiar with the keypads home keys, increase the student’s
typing/inputting with exercise drills and common editing functions
within the Window’s environment. Typing tutors will be used to analyze
speed and accuracy using the keyboard. This class
concentrates on the keyboard’s functions; basic HOME keys, the purpose
of the additional keys located on a standard 12 Function keyboard, the
function keys, shortcut keys and the functions of the numeric keypad. |
AZBC14 Goal Setting - 8 Hours This
workshop will concentrate on providing the students with a focused
approach to take ownership of their lives and career. The students will
generate goals to facilitate the development of their careers.
Additionally, the students will assess their personal and technical
strengths and weaknesses, develop a career plan, identify education and
training requirements to assist them in fulfilling their aspirations and
